Éasca was founded in 2006 by Duncan Stewart, Earth Horizons; Jeff Colley, Construct Ireland; Paul Leech, Gaia Ecotecture; Sally Starbuck, Irish Ecological Design Association, Tom Woolley, Queens University; and Rahim O'Neill, Cultivate.
Éasca owes its initial set-up and continued growth to its support from Construct Ireland Magazine (now Passive House Plus) and Cultivate Living & Learning.
